Based in the village of Montigny-lès-Arsures in the heart of the Jura, Domaine Fumey-Chatelain is one of the region’s most exciting modern ambassadors. Led today by the talented and thoughtful Marin Fumey, the domaine beautifully balances family heritage with a fresh vision of Jura terroir.
Working with emblematic grape varieties such as Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard and Trousseau, Marin crafts wines that are vibrant, expressive and deeply rooted in place. The vineyards are farmed sustainably, with immense respect for the living soils that define the character of the Jura. In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum — careful élevage, judicious use of oak, and a constant pursuit of purity and balance.
On a personal note, we are incredibly proud to represent Marin and Domaine Fumey-Chatelain in New Zealand. Beyond the quality of the wines, there is friendship, trust and shared passion.
