“La Paterne” brings together all the Cabernet Franc parcels of Antoine Sanzay, sourced from clay-limestone soils rich in iron across the villages of Varrains, Chacé, Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, Souzay-Champigny and Dampierre.

This cuvée captures the essence of Saumur-Champigny: freshness, precision, and chalky minerality. Vine age: 45+ years / Soils: Clay-limestone with high iron content / Vinification: Fully de-stemmed / 25-day fermentation in raw concrete tanks / Ageing: 9 months (60% concrete, 40% older oak barrels)
