White wine
Region: Jura
Appellation: AOC Arbois
Grape: 100% Savagnin
A vibrant, aromatic nose with citrus notes, especially lemon, and a well-defined mineral character. On the palate, a crisp and lively attack, with refreshing acidity and a mouthwatering finish.
In the vineyard: the vines are grown organically. The soils are ploughed before winter and left to live naturally the rest of the year. Marin use the Guyot-Poussard pruning method to respect the sap flow of our plants.
Vineyards names: La Vasée, en Longchamps, Sauvagny, la Bouthière (Montigny), la Teppes aux loups (Arbois)
Planted from 2007 to 2019
Soils: Sols Marneux du Lias
In the winery: the grapes are hand-harvested and whole clusters are gently pressed in pneumatic presses. After the juice is transferred to barrels, spontaneous fermentation begins after a few days, thanks to our indigenous yeasts. The white wines are aged on their fine lees. 12 months in 500L barrels (70%) old foudres (30%), followed by 6 months in tanks.
